Failing summer

By: deherf , 03:11 PM GMT del 21 Settembre 2007

It's September 21st, summer's starting to fade away... slowly but surely. A degree here, a cloud there.

The nights are getting longer and cooler now, the days shorter and with a bit of a morning bite to them. In all, I'm anxious to get this summer behind us. It was a bit taxing personally and professionally.

I found a nice surprise this morning as I was bouncing around on Wunderground looking at photos and all... I came across a photo of a barn that I've passed probably over a couple of hundred times. I recognized the thumbnail of it as soon as I saw it.

The photographer, RoyBoy, is a Washington State native too and just so happens to travel in the same areas of western Washington that I do. Keep in mind some of these areas are still fairly remote so it definitely warrants a double take when I see some country and buildings pop up that I happen to recognize.

Anyway, enjoy summer's end everyone... fall's a couple of days away.
