We spotted this big guy on the American river on Kodiak Island. A dream come true for me to see a Kodiak bear. He was eating the dead salmon that have already spawned.

Thanks everyone! I was probably a bit to close, but he/she was pretty occupied by getting the dead and dying salmon. And most important the bear knew we were there!

Why is everyone making fun of Kodiak's weather,LOL!
