Many, many years ago the Colorado River flooded the eastern Coachella Valley in So. California and a freshwater lake was formed. You can still see the lake’s waterline in several places at the base of the Santa Rosa Mountains. This is near the man made Lake Cahuilla which was constructed in the 1960’s.

I've lived in So. Oregon for almost 15 years. It's a beautiful area as you can see by my pictures. I also have photos from Washington and California. I've always loved taking pictures, especially of God's wonderful creation. I love looking at everyone else's photos. Thanks to all who share! |
