wow, ice water to all 450 rooms and auto lighting/fans when you arrived or left the room in 1929! Wonder what happened to the renovation: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baker_Hotel_(Mineral _Wells,_Texas)2010 restoration plans Plans were announced in August 2010 for Domingo Lara to reopen the Baker from its current owner and fund $54 million for renovation.
