Bluebird checking up on eggs. In 10 years bluebirds have laid eggs in this bird house and we've never seen any baby birds. Eggs just seem to disappear. Sparrows and Tree Swallows are constantly being driven away by the bluebirds from going into the house. Don't know if they steal the eggs or what happens to them.

Great shot of a beautiful bird. I wonder if a snake or maybe a racoon is getting to the eggs.

Almost like the picture I posted today, except from the other side of the box! We never see the babies fly, either. There are babies in the box now, so we are hoping to see them leave the nest!
