The mustang Complex fire flared up yesterday producing this smoke Col. so far it has burned 338,787 acres and is 30% contained. Driving down from the LOLO pass it was like soupy fog with the exception it's hard to breath. The Men and women on the fire lines earn every dime they are paid and a whole bunch more. I have been in and out of the small towns and the signs Thank you Firefighters are everywhere. This picture was taken from the White Bird battle site on hwy 95 south of Grangeville Idaho,
