After having spend a bit of the afternoon capturing my butterfly shots we were treated to this sun shower! It was beautiful until the winds picked up and started blowing the rain parallel to the ground! I know there was a rainbow out there somewhere but.....

We live on a 10 acre farm in South Carolina with our animals -dogs,cats and 3 mini donkeys. Time for an update: I have now been on here for over two years, upgraded my camera twice and now use a NikonD90. I have seen this site and the photographers go through many changes and improvements, it is a wonderful place to share and view beautiful photos. when the sun was shining, one of my Mom's
friends told me "Sunshowers are good luck!"
and I liked that so much, I still think of it
every time I see one! Lucky you! It got you a
new Blue, so ...see, it's true!:-)
I was so busy in the front yard capturing this scene that by the time I got around to the back yard to find the rainbow the winds picked up and it poured. Never got to find it but I am sure it was there!
