Great use for an old iron mine.
About 20 years ago, I went to Torrejon (near Madrid). One evening just at sunset, a Spanish friend was taking us to a restaurant. When we rounded a bend in the hilly road, on the right was a field covered with the most beautiful bright red poppies I had ever seen. The sun was setting behind the hill and it was like a glimpse of heaven. I can still see it perfectly in my mind today. Only wish I had a camera that day. Tnx for sharing your pix.
Ok, maybe it's just me. But I feel happy seeing a beautiful bird like this flying so close to a photographer who can get such a fabulous portrait. Thank you for sharing it here.
