Hello, my name is Beth. I am in love with this site. Everyone is so talented, and clearly has a love of both nature and photography. Viewing the photos from around the world is fascinating. It feels as if I've taken a trip each time I visit the site. I live in Park Forest, Illinois, which is partly suburban, partly rural, outside of Chicago. I grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, and have lived various places around the USA and the world. But it looks as if I've settled down here. Together with my husband, I've got six children, either biological or acquired. (My daughter is in the portrait with me, on a trip to London we took a few years ago.) One thing we have around here is WEATHER, most of it bad, in my opinion. We have a long winter, which rapidly changes into a hot, humid summer. Very little spring. It's also flat around here. But the city of Chicago is beautiful, and Lake Michigan is gorgeous. Good luck to everyone, and enjoy taking pictures! |
