Gary, was this picture taken Wednesday or Thursday? Regardless, I love our Big Blue Texas skys! On Wednesday during lunch I took my car to get washed. As I drove away from the carwash I saw some dark cumulonimbus clouds heading toward Central Austin. Instead of running a few more errands, I decided to go back the the parking garage at work. Good thing I did, because 15 minutes later it poured down. See, I made it rain by washing my car. :)

This pic is a Favorite of mine, Gary.

Thanks! It was taken on Wednesday afternoon, about an hour before thunderstorms got rockin' and rolling around here (though not overheaad.) These clouds were probably over the Jarrell/Salado area.

About GaryVA
GaryVA My interest in weather really spun up during my career in wildland fire management in Southern California, as weather has a tremendous affect on wildfire starts and behavior. This is an, ahem, older photo of me in those days. I'm now living in central Texas, and weather is a very serious hobby of mine. My weather web site, providing current, historical, and forecast weather conditions for Central Texas is Round Rock Weather. var sc_project=2591691; var sc_invisible=0; var sc_partition=25; var sc_security="b5a0cb54";
