Thank you all for all the comments and emails you have sent me since I put up the first pictures of the baby squirrels that fell out of a tree onto my driveway. I was not able to put them back, tree too high, and the mother had not retrieved them after a couple of hours of waiting, so I have them in the house now and am feeding them kitten formula. I do not, however, give them a very good chance of survival -- just too young, I would estimate no more than a week to ten days old.

Oh, hi, James; you slipped in while I was typing!
Colleen
Bless you for attempting it...
Kittens are predators, and would need a different diet, than a foraging herbivore, like a squirrel.
I would suggest goats milk... As goats are (basically) foraging herbivores. And (grazing) cows milk would be too heavy.
Hope that helps.
Good luck!!
When we got our Booly Cat, he was about that size, ie, would barely fit across my palm (and had a penchant for urinating in my hand when I'd hold him and "pet" him :þ ), but he already had hair. Lots of eyedropper-time with milk and some goopy plaster-like formula someone else got, and he's still doing quite fine so many years later, biting my head when I'm sleeping.
feeder and drives my dog buddy nut's. I posted
a picture of Bud sailing over the 1190.00 fence
I put up to keep him out of the flowers. He jumps the fence and Mr. Rocky runs up the tree and chatters at him, so it's back over the fence till next time
The remaining squirrel is still doing well three days after it dropped into my life. I have left a message at a wildlife rehab # and am waiting to see if anyone will call back. I've run out pretty much all the contacts I was given; if this one doesn't come through for me, I guess I will just keep the squirrel, for better or worse.
