Ripening grapes crowd my trellis; so far the coons and possums haven't found them, and with any luck, they will mostly be indoors before nightfall tonight (Sunday).

Thank you, Liz and Ingrid! No, Ingrid, you don't want to live in my garden; it is more weeds, bugs, and critters than it is fruits and flowers! But the grapes are among the things that have done well this year (many more have decidedly NOT), and I'm glad I have anything to post besides pictures of rack and ruin (been there, done that).

Thanks, Lucy; I am busy processing them right now. These are Fredonias, a Concord type that do better in this particular climate, and taste like Concords. We make juice and jelly out of them.
