Thank you very much! I used to live in the DFW area and traveled in all directions from there mainly by car. I used to time trips west so I could see the dark midnight sky in west Texas and this reminds me of it. Best regards, Patrick of Portland, OR.

Wow, Debbie! Awesome and very beautiful! Graduated from HS and college in El Paso, but never made it out to Guadelupe, which was not a NP at the time. My sister and I plan to visit this Fall, so we'll have to make sure we stay after dark.

I just found this awesome shot of the awesome night sky in World View. I have note seen a sky like this since I was 12 years old, in CT, on a cold evening. Now, I believe here in the Northeast we could not have this experience due to light pollution. It was a spiritually unforgettable experience to look into the dark sky, into space, and practically feel the little planet ball on which I was standing. The sense of insignificance is a reality check we miss out on now. Thank you so much.
