Just a bit of old snow in the shadows of the pasture..normally this pasture should have several feet of snow by now.

Thank you so much everyone for your kind comments! I spotted a lenticular late this afternoon over the Ruby Mtns, but it tucked itself behind the mountains as I got the closer.....so I enjoyed the late lighting and sunset. I am amazed at the lack of snow this year. The snowline looks more like June.

Beautiful scene and series... we, too, are way under for snowcover (Maine). However, we have plenty of cold to go around... this scene looks warm and golden, but I suppose it is rather nippy!
