... Winter Storm Watch remains in effect from Wednesday afternoon
through Thursday afternoon...

* locations... northeast Kentucky and portions of western West
Virginia

* hazard types... snow and sleet.

* Snow accumulations... 3 to 8 inches.

* Timing... Wednesday night.

* Impacts... untreated roads and sidewalks could become extremely
slippery.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Watch means there is a potential for significant
snow... sleet... or ice accumulations that may impact travel.

Areal Flood Watch
Statement as of 02:44 AM EST del 03 Marzo 2015

... Flood Watch remains in effect from this evening through
Thursday morning...

The Flood Watch continues for

* portions of northeast Kentucky... southeast Ohio... southwest
Virginia and West Virginia.

* From this evening through Thursday morning.

* A storm system will bring widespread rains and warmer
temperatures tonight and Wednesday. One to three inches of rain
is possible through the watch period. This rain coupled with
snow melt could cause flooding of streams... creeks... and rivers
throughout the region.

* Small stream and creek flooding will be possible Tuesday night
through Wednesday... with minor to moderate flooding along larger
rivers possible Wednesday through Thursday.

* Persons along streams... creeks... and river should monitor water
levels and be prepared to take action should flooding develop.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
flood warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop.

... Very light freezing rain early this morning...

A band of very light freezing rain will be moving across much of
north central and central West Virginia between 730 am and 10
am... before temperatures rise above freezing. This may be enough
to wet the surface and cause slippery conditions... especially on
bridges... overpasses..and in sheltered valleys. Motorists are urged to
exercise caution.
