TXAG tropical update

Nicole aims for S. Florida.

TD #16 formed now, and it should be Nicole by tomorrow morning. Odds remain slim that it will reach a hurricane before landfall Wednesday night. It should make it to a weak tropical storm (maybe 50 mph). Landfall should be on the S. Florida coast west of Miami on Wednesday night. GFS is much faster than the Euro at making landfall on the South Carolina coast Thursday night. Latest 12Z makes it a strong tropical storm around Wilmington by Thursday night.

Several more systems are likely to develop in the next week or two, as we are NOT done with hurricane season.
