A hot humid day for the southeast portion of Texas. Nothing new for this time of year. As a strong low pressure system moves east accross the northern plains, the southeast gulf coast of Texas will feel strong southen to southeasterly winds 20-25mph gusting to 30-40mph. The strong winds will bring with it, unparalelled humidity for june. The barametric pressure contiues to fall at 1009mb. Temps. will climb into the lower 90s, with a dangerous heat index from 100 to 105F. People living in these areas should remain indoors, with there air running and drink plenty of water.
Rain or thunderstorms are not forcast as a very dry upper air mass has moved into place.
As for the tropics, nothing of any conciquence is near Texas. Of coarse as always we should remain vigilant.
Just another day of hot and humid weather for the Texas gulf coast, and that's the way it is.
