H1N1 Precautions:

1. Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. Throw the tissue in the trash after you use it.

2. Wash your hands often with soap and water, especially after you cough or sneeze. Alcohol-based hand cleaners are also effective.

3.Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth. The virus can spread this way.

4. Try to avoid close contact with sick people.

5. If you get sick with influenza, stay home from work or school and limit contact with others to keep from infecting them.

1. If you are sick, limit your contact with other people as much as possible. Do not go to work or school if ill.

2. Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing or sneezing. It may prevent those around you from getting sick. Put your used tissue in the waste basket.

3. Cover your cough or sneeze if you do not have a tissue. Then, clean your hands, and do so every time you cough or sneeze.

I managed to get all three on one of the trips.... lots of beauty, but also lotta mud, wood plank bridges and not strong on amenities if you're into them. but there is a place called Nosara - very sweet, very surfy... and the baby monkey rescue center is probably a highlight in my life. After the low gets done with us it's going to head out into the ATL and crank up even stronger sending a curve ball at the islands that unlike most swells will have a ton of West in it and favorable winds. I took the opp to sleep in on this rainy Friday am. It's still super flat, not even 1ft! But the surf is on the way. I'm gonna take my board to the beach and stand there till the waves come up... Just kidding but I'm amping to surf even if it's gonna be choppy. I know a spot that faces the south and would be side offshore from the NW wind for Saturday but the tide may not let it in. That's a STRONG swell 10ft in the middle gulf with gale force winds... the tide has been super low every morning. The piggy back low is 1001mb and dropping pressure right in the sweet spot! Saturday December 19th. AMI - Wax 'em up! Chunky surf today in the shoulder+ range with larger sets mixed in. Low tide this morning keeping some of the bigger sets from reaching the beach, but the tide bottomed out at 7:18am and is on the rise with a high tide at 2:24pm this afternoon. Wind currently hard from the north putting abit of texture on the face at the more exposed beaches, and leaving others with side off conditions. Kiters will find perfect conditions for surf runs down the beach, please use caution. Check back later for more updates, have a great day. Gulf Temp 70° Way to windy for me, plus I had work - my fish is still getting repaired.going to have to wait for it lay down a bit and hope I can steal 2 hours to get in the brine.
