Glacier National Park, in NW Montana, has a webcam trained on an osprey nest. The platform the nest sits on was provided by the local utility company as a means for the osprey to nest while keeping them off the poles with electric wires attached. The male from last years' breeding pair that occupied the webcam nest died as a result of coming in contact with a pole that had electric lines. However, a few days ago, an osprey returned to the nest; hopefully, in a few weeks we'll be able to see hatchlings, as we did in 2010!

I haven't made up my mind yet, Pros; if I don't keep it in the main part with the rest of the cams, I may post it in comment #1. It's usuallu a few weeks before the fledglings are big enough to be picked up by the cam. We'll see; but either way, I won't forget the cam!

Good morning Ylee and friends. Hope your Monday is a good one. Nice to see the little boat back offshore in Milos. I may post the Osprey cam in my blog so I can keep an eye on them for you if that is ok.

Have a great day dear one.

Hi, Alley! If you want to post the Ospey cam on your blog, that's fine with me! It's not like I'm the webcam mafia, lol!

There's another cam I may post on your blog, maybe this one, I haven't made up my mind yet!

I've found several cams for the new blog, but I won't have time to post the whole thing today. Hopefully I'll be able to wrap things up tomorrow night!

Good morning Ylee.
Though the BBQ didn't go as I wanted the short time over the coals added a bit of flavor. Next time I won't be so cheap and use real charcoal. :)
Enjoy the day while we bake here on the prairie.

Good Morning, looks to be another busy weekend. Am thinking maybe June we will finish painting the kitchen. Do have some edging tape up.

Noticed the T&P valve is leaking on the water heater. *Sigh* it is such a whip to access the water heater. There is a panel on the outside of the house. It needs to be caulked in and caulked over the screws to prevent rot.

Major pain in the wazzoo to cut through the caulk, unscrew 25 screws and pop the panel off. Hope it's just a bad T&P. Looks to be intermittant so could be a pressure thing. Not sure where I can install an expansion tank....or it could be a thermostat....

After replacing the first water heater we ran hoses to outside the house. One for the T&P and one for the rubber enclosure we made around the new water heater to drain where we can see it.

Also found the repairs to the underbelly liner the repair guy did had all come down. Looking forward to a weekend of spe-lunking under the house.

Hi Ylee! Have the honeysuckle bloomed yet?

My son and dil in Alaska got 6 inches of snow for Mother's Day! They weren't real happy, LOL!!! My son forgets that when we lived in the mountains snow on Mother's day happened more often then not!

Good evening. Been a rough 12 hours since I left for home. I won't elaborate, but I have very limited energy for blogging. Gamma losing Harley didn't help, either. :(

I may feel better later, so I won't rule out the possibility of putting up a new blog tonight, but don't hold your breath. I have two nights of OT in my regular job here in the Shack, so I'll have plenty of time to get it done.

Hi, Tony, I didn't know it was that hot already on the prairie! Got your shorts out of storage yet?

GG, I know all too well the quality components that go into the construction of manufactured housing. My aunt's water heater leaked until the floor underneath it rotted out!

Be careful crawling under the house; lots of creepy crawlies you don't want to mess with may be living under there, so make sure you chuck a couple or three bombs under there to insure a quality dead zone.

Cal with the warmer weather early this year, the honeysuckl are almost done blooming, having started about a month ago! Still smells great, though!

I'll be fine, Pros! Life is a long, strange trip sometimes. If you ever want to know what's in a person's heart, just wait. Their true self will make themselves known.

Thank you.

Back from a quick trip to Nebraska and Colorado. Trip went well but no great photo weather-foggy. Blessings to you, Ylee!

Good evening Ylee. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers that things work out well for you. We all are challenged at times with what life throws at us but know you have lots of folks looking out for you all.

Catch you again at 4:30 AM when I get up to feed the kitties....

Hi, Reno! Glad to see you made it back! Sorry the photo ops didn't pan out. :(
Hey, at least you got her something! :)

Alley, sometimes it seems like the whole world is against me and my wife, even those we cherish the most! Sometimes things just gotta happen, I guess!

Thanks, Alley! See you in a little bit!

Gosh, sorry to hear you've had "issues" to deal with. Life can be so darned frustrating (or whatever other word you want to substitute).
I'm not usually up at this time, but I've been working and time got away from me - glad I popped by.

I did have to laugh at Alley and her kitty-feeding. I guess I'm not the only one who has a furball ready to bounce at 4 a.m. or so. I'd better get to bed so she can wake me up in four hours!

Have a good night - hope everything at work stays nice and calm. ;)

Shore, you are up burning the midnight oil, lol! Work at is it's normal silliness ; it's the things at home that are crazy at the monent!

Hi Ylee,
Sorry life seems to be throwing you a curved ball at the moment - shout and scream if it helps - no on can "hear" !!

How about sailing away in the boat in Pelican bay !

Finding new cams isn't happening tonight; as soon as I start going through the cams, I doze off! Maybe tomorrow night will be better!

Six days off? That sounds cool, Trauma! Only two hours to go!

Shouting and screaming does not help, Sandi! Sometimes you just have to grind it out, one day at a time! Milos sounds good, but it wouldn't be much fun if there were issues at home unresolved!

Ylee, I have discovered this the hard way: 'I'll be fine, Pros! Life is a long, strange trip sometimes. If you ever want to know what's in a person's heart, just wait. Their true self will make themselves known.'

So very true, and so hurtful. Stay well and remember that not everyone turns out to be a disappointing element in our lives.

Sorry Ylee, did not get back to chat at 4:30 AM..Did not get to sleep until after I fed the kitties at 3:45 AM...Pulled another one of those "can't get to sleep" nights until I finally was exhausted enough to fall into a deep coma...LOL. Still I got up at 7 for bathroom run then back to sleep until 9 AM. Will try not to lay down today if possible so I can get to bed at a reasonable time tonite and no coffee after 7 PM. Gonna be dragging the old butt around today...

Rest well dear one. You deserve it.

Hi Ylee, sorry to hear your shoulders are getting broadend with the load on them. You have friends in the electron world. Sometimes the support we can't see is the some of the purest.
I have some funny pictures to post and will see if the gatekeepers will accept them as portraits.

Hang in there buddy.

Good evening! Personally, things are a hair better than they were yesterday; at this stage, I'll take all the better I can get! :)

Our weathersticker says Lewisport is getting light sprinkles, which is most curious, as it is presently clear here!

I'm going to skip visiting the blogs until I get the new blog done; maybe I can get done at a reasonable hour this time!

Hi, Pros! My natural first instinct with people is to give them the benefit of a doubt and trust them until proven otherwise. In this case, it was a hunch I've had for a while now, but unfortunately, my wife was blindsided when the ones in question decided to show their true colors.

Hi, Alley! Hope you get your sleep pattern lined out! Transitioning from dayshift to nights has always been a problem for me, as it's hard for me to sleep past 3PM!

Sleep well!

Hi, GG, I saw the exhaust port of Roxie as your avatar before I read about it in your blog(Had to check it out before I came here, even though I didn't leave a comment! I will after I get the new blog done!).

I know there's good people wherever you go, but I don't have any support from anyone at home except my wife and my mom. The good people here at WU have been a Godsend to me, as I have tried to be a good friend to about everyone here on the blogs.

To all of you, I thank you from the bottom of my heart! :)

It is bad enough when things happen to us but it is worse when the victim is our spouse or child.

I see that the sun is about to rise at Riva del Garda, the sky and water at the Outer Harbor are beautifully clear, mom is sitting patiently, ....

Take care Ylee.

I know exactly what will happen - it's happened before!

I will leave a comment here and you will set up a new blog and it will never be seen.... so I won't bother! hehehe

On second thoughts, I must say hello before I go!
Glad things are a tad easier today, I can feel your pain in the words you write:(

Hi, Pros, Sandi! Thanks for your support!

Pros, It's a beautiful day in Riva; then why does the weathersticker say 17F and snow? ;-)

See, Sandi, I acknoledged your post before the new blog is up, lol!

I think I have my cam lineup figured out! Now comes the task of getting them in a blog!

Good morning Ylee. Glad to see that things are a bit better then they were. Be grateful you and your wife have each other, right now that is all that matters. Time will heal the pain and trust will have to be rebuilt. Its tough when those we always thought were with us, turn out to be disappointments. Have faith dear one. You are not alone. God walks with you and when you need Him, He will provide comfort.
