Thanks for stopping by guys. I'm trying to figure out whats going on with this low in the central u.s. Definatly going to be a weather maker over missippi tonight and tomorrow. Got a Divergant quad of the jet max over us leading to a whole sh*t load of divergance aloft. That included with a dry line over texas and hot and cold thermal contrast its making for a little excitment. I may need to get the camera out.

I wonder if wunderground has a contract with the nws to only run there products in the model runs. I just realized that... The GFS is there global model and the NAM is there regional model. (The GFS is the nams parent model)

They need to get some NOGAPS up in here for a second opinion.

Ya on the models page. The NAM and the GFS are really the same model just the name is more regional than the GFS. I never realized that before.

Ya know charles the only thing is the lows are exploding really quick but loosing there steam really fast it seems. Like this low is already occluded. Probally fall apart but thursday and decay. That dosent matter snowfall wise but TS wise it pretty much means less instability for the storms. Although thats on of many reasons but ya.

What you think is going to happen with this low though?

So NWS says slight chance of showers in here starting around 0600. That would be nice little trip in to school in the morning. And then my first loaded model run will be TS over station. AWESOME!!!
