Well, actually, taking the day off from yard work.

I have 23 Baby Dedication DVD's to duplicate at Church this morning.

But the duplication room is Air Conditioned don't you know!
And fresh coffee across the hall with donuts!

Life can be so tough sometimes. :)

The hard part I would imagine is getting the right name on the right DVD; Mrs. Brumley would be aghast if she got the DVD of baby Harris' dedication! :)

Been outside watching a couple junior aviators take flying lessons in the top of a pine tree. I think they are a little too fat for their wings. They seem to be getting the hang of it though. Saw a couple nearly level flights.

Yeah, the flying lessons are happening here too.
Watched a good one yesterday from the eaves above the garage, with Mom and Dad in attendance and a lot of chirping.
Junior did good and flew 40 feet into a big Balata tree.

Yeah, I like this job every Thurs morning, I work in the yard Mon, Tues, and Wed, take a nice break Thurs morn, then back to the yard Fri and Sat morning, then off again on Sunday.

By the first of June I cut back to yard work only on Mon, Tues, and Wed!

Speaking of work, time to go, see you later.

OK, but I'm not going to tell anyone this time. :)

Saturday's forecast = 99.



OK, I think I have just cancelled yard work.

We have dinner with the kids Friday night,
Birthday party for the grands Sat morning,
Dinner with some other friends Sat night,
Memorial Day Concert at Church Sun morning,
BBQ on Monday.

Here, we had another glorious sunset, cocktails on the upstairs deck locking at subdued flashes lighting up the clouds over the Venezuelan Andes. Then the cloud whisped away and there was the Moon.
Then dinner and now the Ladies are saying they are Retiring for the night.

I think I will follow them pretty soon.

Look what just came out of nowhere and is getting bigger by the minute.

It's right down the street from us about two blocks south.

My weekend plans-

Saturday: Work dayshift 12 hrs, OT, time and a half.
Sunday: Work dayshift 12 hrs, Sunday pay, time and a half.
Monday: Work dayshift 12 hrs, Holiday pay, double time and a half.

May be hot and boring, but at least it pays well! :)

I could go out in the garden after work this morning, but I'm not up to working a hoe after a 12 hour shift! Bed sounds better! :)

Morning Arkers and Arkets,

I have two Honey-doos on todays list.

First I have to track down a large nest of those big nasty black mud dobber wasps that are taking all of the grout out between my bricks on the front porch to make their mud nests with. Once I find them I will give them a bath with Wasp Spray. Since I am alergic to bee stings and alergic to insecticides I will have to find a Hazmat Suit first.

My second job this morning is go give this gigantic six foot tall six foot wide green grass thingy in the back garden some prunes. At least I think that's what SugarBear said, I am just now having my coffee so I may have to have those instructions again before I start on that job. From what I remember she said it was supposed to be a little dwarf green grass thingy and it turned out to be monster green grass thingy and is taking over the entire garden so it needs to be "pruned". I don't know what giving it prunes is going to do for it but she is the "Gardener", I am just manual labor you know.

Orca gave me a Hazmat Suit years ago to wear when I have to go in the crawl space under the house because of all the Wolf Spiders that live under there. Maybe I can still find a photo of it. Be right back.

Yeah, here it is, it should work for wasps don't you think?
