June 18th
Another round of storms today,but should not be as bad as yesterday.Very heavy line came through late afternoon with torrential downpours.I received .78 inches.Would not be surprised if some of the storms this afternoon drop heavy rains and a couple could reach close to severe level.After today,it looks to be beautiful weather the rest of the week and it looks like we finally get into a summery pattern starting this weekend.

June 17th
So we start the week off with possible severe weather.Models indicate that instability could be very high this afternoon,so everyone should stay alert for some rough weather developing.First in the west early to mid afternoon,quickly progressing east.
Winds and heavy rain are the greatest threat.Tomorrow,if we get enough sun we may have another round of severe storms as a front hangs around the area,before moving east tomorrow night.

Happy Father's Day

So pretty nice Fathers day,hope all the fathers out there had an easy day and enjoyed their families.

June 15th
Finally spring has returned,beautiful spring day going on,with temps approaching 80,low dewpoints,light breezes.Enjoy this while it lasts more unsettled weather starting late tomorrow.

June 14th,
Several areas have flood warnings up as we received another 1 to 3 inches of rain yesterday and last night ...

June 7th
TGIF!!!Friday is here,thank you,thank you,so Andrea is on her way up the coast,dropping huge amounts of rain,should pass over SE Mass,which will put us on the wet western side of this storm.Starting mid to late afternoon the downpours move in and will continue through most of the night.There will be moments where the rainfall will be lighter,than another band of extremely heavy rain moves in.Winds will only be a concern over cape cod and the islands....

May 31st
Happy Friday!!sure didn't feel like a short week,but its here and so is the end of May.
Overall May ended above normal,thanks to a hot spell the past two days,otherwise May was pretty close to normal for temps.
Precip was above normal,but not by a lot,thanks to the past couple of weeks.The first half of May was much below normal.We are still about 4 inches below normal for the year to date.

Wet and cool Memorial Day weekend

May 23rd
So my great idea to have a nice 4 day holiday weekend gets rained on.I was hoping a front would move through quickly and we would have a cool,but sunny weekend,now it appears a slow cutoff system will slowly move through our area with lots of rain and very cool temps only around 60.We might salvage Monday.Usually by this date we a couple of summery type days,but nothing like this is forecast,although we will start to recover to more normal temps next...
