No big things on my mind today.Lots of stuff??? floating around.
Our Redsox continue to sink into oblivion around these parts.Always lots of opinions on why they self destructed, pointing fingers at Bobby Valentine(wonder if he regrets taking this job?),huge number of injuries, lack of leadership from upper management.
To me the main reason is our two star pitchers can't pitch this season.Josh Beckett, and John Lester. If these two pitchers had won more games than they lost,we would be right behind the yankees.
Oh well Patriots open preseason tonight against the Saints, and not excited about preseason, but its something else to watch rather than watch the Redsox get beat up.
Weather department is very humid for the next several days with bouts of rain and storms, especially tomorrow and Saturday, then cooler drier weather on Sunday and Monday.
Tropics still alive, Ernesto dying out in Mexico,92L moving across the Central Atlantic, maybe into the Carribean, depending on how strong it gets.If it forms a TD it may be pulled more north.Big wave coming off Africa, this one has to be watched very closely. With the El Nino,we have many troughs moving across the northern states,so we stay safe up here, but farther south I.E. Florida and SE states are in harms way,as well as the Gulf. We'll have to wait and see if the current pattern holds.
Olympics end tomorrow night,my interest has faded with so many events,I just lose interest. Our local town of Needham is ready to have a big celebration when Aly Raisman returns.Sometime next week my guess.
Have an enjoyable Thursday all,I will be in and out today.

THE NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER IS ISSUING ADVISORIES ON TROPICAL
STORM ERNESTO...LOCATED NEAR COATZACOALCOS MEXICO.
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ASSOCIATED WITH A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM
LOCATED ABOUT 1050 MILES WEST OF THE SOUTHERN CAPE VERDE ISLANDS
CONTINUE TO SHOW LITTLE CHANGE IN ORGANIZATION. UPPER-LEVEL WINDS
APPEAR CONDUCIVE FOR FURTHER DEVELOPMENT AND A TROPICAL DEPRESSION
COULD FORM OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS. THIS SYSTEM HAS A HIGH
CHANCE...70 PERCENT...OF BECOMING A TROPICAL CYCLONE DURING THE
NEXT 48 HOURS AS IT MOVES WESTWARD AT ABOUT 15 MPH.
A LOW PRESSURE TROUGH...THE REMNANTS OF FLORENCE...IS LOCATED A FEW
HUNDRED MILES NORTHEAST OF THE NORTHERN LEEWARD ISLANDS...AND IS
PRODUCING DISORGANIZED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS. UPPER-LEVEL WINDS
ARE NOT EXPECTED TO BE CONDUCIVE FOR REDEVELOPMENT. THIS SYSTEM HAS
A LOW CHANCE...NEAR 0 PERCENT...OF BECOMING A TROPICAL CYCLONE
AGAIN DURING THE NEXT 48 HOURS AS IT MOVES NORTHWESTWARD AT ABOUT
20 MPH.
ELSEWHERE...TROPICAL CYCLONE FORMATION IS NOT EXPECTED DURING THE
NEXT 48 HOURS.
