KeleHawaii's WunderBlog

Another relatively dry, sunny day

Logged another 2/10ths of an inch of precip. Mother Nature is being very consistent here now. It is very surprising to me as in much of the rest of the world, she is being totally the opposite!

Good morning! Consistency is good. I'm going to try for a little more of it myself. For some reason, I got caught in the doldrums and haven't been posting or reading for more than a week - maybe two. I'll blame it on August. Everyone here is sick and tired of hotnhumid. But we've got rain in the forecast, so everyone is stirring a little now!

From the way it appears now, the heat and dryness is going to give way to cooler and wetter conditions pretty soon in a lot of areas of the continental US. Of course it is far too late to save much of the failed crops of summer but that's the way it is.

Some of the forecasts for the longer term indicate that the winter may be colder and much snowier than normal too but that may be a benefit, particularly for the western US as it will help restore the water table which is of extreme importance to the survival of everyone.
