KeleHawaii's WunderBlog

Very wet Monday

A total of 1.1 inches of precip yesterday. The rains were not of the torrential type as is common when we have a very close passage of a tropical wave or remnants of a former cyclone. It rained lightly for most of the day. No sun to speak of. Just a few breaks as the sun got low in the sky about an hour or so before sunset.

It appears that it will dry out somewhat now that the wave has moved off to the west.

I am not sure whether it rained much on the leeward/Kona side as I have not talked with my friends over there. From the looks of the daylight satellite images I'd say they did not get much if any.
