Good Morning! At Smithville, MS, the current temperature is 44 and it feels like 44. Highs will continue to range between 72 and 86 with lows between 49 and 64. There is a 40% chance of scattered thunderstorms on Monday and a 50% chance of scattered thunderstorms on Tuesday. A few storms could be strong to severe with large hail and damaging winds being the main threats. However, isolated tornadoes cannot be ruled out. Rainfall between 1-3 inches are possible with flash flooding also possible. Monday could be our main day for severe weather. Now, how big and significant the severe weather will be across the South remains a question. Also, may have to keep an eye on the Atlantic next week.
