Human thermal efficiency

Yah, it's late so my math probably ain't that good, but it does look like our five folks in the family are adding 3.744 kWH/day to the system (otherwise known as the house).

But, experimentally, you still have to explain the rise in temperature during the evening and the losses in the early morning.

Oh, and there is the odd ceiling fan working. It's like a security blanket so I ain't going to shut it off (but discuss at a time when emotions are in check)

I have a glass I bought specifically b/c it doesn't "sweat" in the summer when I'm drinking wine w/ice (I know, but I have to dilute my alcohol). Lately, it's proven it's effectiveness winter-wise by not freezing my hand off! (I have an aversion to hot drinks - no matter what the weather...)

I held my word on saying the storm would eventually bring snow to the East Coast and low and behold, it's snowing and sticking on Long Island, according to my friends. While the big storm did not happen, it's still gonna look holidayish out there in the morning. The next storm could be VERY interesting, potential Big Daddy Blizzard for the East Coast, or an East Coast miss, that's what the models are currently showing right now.

No, actually some of us speak those languages. One can always tell if they use google, because languages can not be translated properly.

It is actually a good learning tool and very useful. The sentence come out funny though. You should use it when you can. It is an amazing device. I never thought they would come as far as they did because of the the nuances in languages.

This was right before the whole "climategate scandal". Up til now there was some speculation Russia or cooperate interests hacked some climate researchers, took snip-its out of e-mails that brought any doubt out of context about AGW & quickly spread it right before the big climate summit in late 2009. There was some hacking that occurred at some US university or research but no real reported attempts on a govt agency by China til this.. Never heard the term "Computer Pirates against Climatologists" before..

I will write to you off blog in Dutch if you want. It is not always good to write on the main blog in another language. I do not speak much Dutch anymore. I am forgetting. Mostly German and Norwegian now, although I still know the Northern dialects in Germany and some Swiss dialects, yet.

Uw Nederlands is goed. Google is een website die talen vertaalt, maar niet zo goed. Het zal gewoonlijk heel goed, maar niet altijd nauwkeurig vertalen.
