At 15:00 PM JST, Tropical Storm Leepi (994 hPa) near 28.5N 125.2E has 10 minute sustained winds of 40 knots with gusts of 60 knots. The cyclone is reported as moving north at 16 knots.

Tropical Storm "EMONG" has maintained its strength as it moves farther away from the country and is now out of the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

At 4:00 AM PhST, Tropical Storm Emong [LEEPI] (994 hPa) located at 25.5N 124.8E or 570 km northeast of Basco, Batanes has 10 minute sustained winds of 40 knots with gusts up to 50 knots. The cyclone is reported as moving north at 11 knots.

Additional Information
==========================
Estimated rainfall within the 600 km diameter of the tropical storm is from 5-15 mm per hour (moderate to heavy).

Tropical Storm "EMONG" is not expected to make landfall to any part of the country. However, it will continue to enhance the Southwest Monsoon which will bring moderate to occasionally heavy rains and thunderstorms over the western sections of Luzon and Visayas and light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms over the rest of the country.

Fishermen specially those using small seacrafts are advised not to venture out into the Northern and Eastern Seaboards of Luzon and Western Seaboard of southern Luzon due to big waves generated by Tropical Storm "EMONG".

Meanwhile, the Low Pressure Area was estimated based on all available data at 450 km west of Ambulong, Tanauan, Batangas 14.5N 116.5E.

With this development this is the final bulletin on this weather disturbance.

The Low Pressure Area west of Batangas has developed into a Tropical Depression and was named "FABIAN"

At 10:00 AM PhST, Tropical Depression Fabian (1000 hPa) located at 15.2N 117.0E or 290 km west of Iba, Zambales has 10 minute sustained winds of 30 knots The cyclone is reported as moving north northwest at 6 knots.

Estimated rainfall amount is from 5-15 mm per hour (moderate to heavy) within the 300 km diameter of the tropical depression.

Tropical Depression "FABIAN" has no direct effect to any part of the country. However, it will enhance the Southwest Monsoon which will bring moderate to occasionally heavy rains and thunderstorms over the western section of Luzon particularly Palawan.

The public and the disaster coordinating councils concerned are advised to take appropriate actions and the next update will be incorporated in the 24-hour weather forecast to be issued at 5 pm today.
