A nice looking morning in commence, a wee bit of overcast, a slight draft WSW, temp already 1C, to rise near double digits once again as the day moves along. Longrange indicating similar type temps for the next couple of weeks.
Exams moving along, Emily has been exempted, but going in for a bit of math review today. She seems to have embraced the Engineering choice, and is working hard to get the best marks possible. Rob still coasting along telling us not to worry, things are not at the 100% level, but still very good, at least in his mind.
Weather conditions and time of year have the fishery news quiet. Guys were saying lobster price has improved to around the $5/lb level. Word has it there is none in the pipeline, combined with fewer traps in the water makes the law of supply and demand come into play on the side of the fisherman for a change.

Morning CHUNKS, a grand 'spring like' day yesterday, today promising similar conditions. The longrange indicating nice temps, if such is the case the winter will be given a great kick to get out of town for this year.
At the LEGENDS game one of the participants in Opening Ceremonies was Donna's great uncle, Smiles GREEN, a mere 98 years of age. Terry ORIELLY escorted him off the ice. Terry rather than attend the post game festivities spent the evening with Smiles. He obviously made an impression from Centre Ice to the boards. He is of the same stuff as Gerald and Otis, great story tellers and lots of things to share.
Emily getting into the Prom Dress mode, she dosen't have the confidence to travel around in St. John, other than the malls of course. Donna dosen't either SO have been asked to accompany them to assist in the process. That means drive and don't offer opinions, for what do I know, which is correct of course.
The folks from Toronto that attended the event on Friday night still marvel at the sense of community from the crowd at the arena. They enjoyed themselves immensley and will be returning on thier own time, in the better weather.
Trust Cody is doing fine.
Enjoy the day.

Lobster price reportadly on the increase locally. Another controversay arising in the local fishery. A couple of licenses recently sold to interests in Nova Scotia, this taking the jobs and money out of the community. A complicated issue, there are two sides, however a new wrinkle in what has been historically an industry that if not passed from father to son, certainly to another younger member of the community. The bottom line is funds of course.
Have a good one.
