Overcast, 2C, not enough air moving to lift the flag. Barometer just beginning to dip, radar indicates the forecast 'mess' still down the coast a few hours. Still deciding if our weather fate to be a rain event or participate in the coming snow/blizzard. Temp to be above zero till early tomorrow, clear and cold once the storm moves off.
Kids up and prowling getting ready for school, happened to check FACEBOOK and they found 'no school'. They couldn't believe their good fortune, another day missed due to weather, weren't long finding their bunks again.

Morning CHUNKS, just getting to my mail this morning. As I mentioned believe we are destined for rain before the snow later on tonight. You guys are further off the 'edge' of the system, would appear you are getting more snow than rain, being a liitle inland on this one will make quite a difference.
Reading the coverage of the 'lockout' one gets the idea, both parties are inclined to believe the resolution will take some time. Both groups have sympathy for the others position, non are easy to resolve, this one will be a precident for future negoatiations(can't find my automatic spell check so for some of the spelling will have to bear with me).
Here on the Bermuda of the Maritimes we have neither skunks or armadillos, however do have an abundance of muskrats that burrow under the snow during the winter months. The lawn can change drastically if we have extended time with snow cover.
Keep your shovel handy, no doubt will have some blowing snow to move around.
