Partial overcast at the moment, 10KPH WSW, temp 8C to rise slightly as the day moves along, still calling for showers. Nice weather and seasonable temps for the weekend and into next week.
Emily babysitting overnight, and today, Rob out once again overnight.As a consequence fairly quiet around the ranch past few hours.
Lots of wind past several days has kept the bait traffic down, can't imagine that it was fit to work last night.
The ice making equipment showing up next week, however can't get on the concrete for another week or so. The installers will be doing the preliminaries to get the outfit ready to go ASAP, before going on the new slab.

Turkey day preparations well underway.
Kids showed up from University last night. Daughter neglected to inform us that she was bringing home friend from Ontario, who can't go home for Thanksgiving, for the weekend?? Okay then!
Extra food now has to be purchased - again. Non-stop cooking of cinnamon buns, chocolate chip cookies, etc., and all gobbled up before barely out of oven. A big crew of 'friends' here last night till don't know when. Blurry eyed at work this morning for sure. Hopefully all will be invited out tonight.
Doesn't really matter - hub and I making another trip to store so will miss some of the goings on. I will drop in to bed tonight totally exhausted I am sure.
Well, supper is simmering so must go check.

p.s. It is beautiful out here. Dog sitting so took pup down to garden for a snoop around. Felt 'stuff' falling from giant spruce tree. Looked up to see cheeky red squirrel chucking acorns down on our heads. Are squirrel's dumb? I don't think so. woot.
