Clear, a cold northerly breeze @ 25KPH, -5C temp makes it very cold for spring time. Clear but little rise in temps anticipated for the remainder of the day.
Wood splitter works well afte nearly a year being left alone. Did get a small start on stowing the wood another one of those things a little at a time, that way always have someting to do. Still have to get some of the hardwood out of the bush in North Head, next weekend should give that a good rub.
A few geese around, some flew infront of the house this morning, noticed some in the fields yesterday. The brant still hanging around the outer islands, none in the harbour as yet.

You never mentioned how the ferry gathering went. Can relate, have been involved in the local Committee for years. However we have been moving forward after many years of meetings and studies to get the point across.
Your sone and heir and Rob seem to have things in common. Rob has been busted a few times this winter for pushing various envelopes concerning the rules, Donna threatned to make his guitars 'wall art', this seemed to get his attention in a hurry.
Have a good one. ROB
I didn't make it to the Protest/Riot in Belleisle due to various 'stuff', however, by all the hits I got on face-book from my rent-a-kids, it appears that no one from the government showed, even though there were 700 or so people there. (DON'T KNOW HOW THEY FIT EVERYONE IN THE THEATER). Apparently, there is now a contingent going to Fredericton to protest. Every store now has a petition to be signed and our store has a load of names already. This aught to be interesting.
Yesterdays light walk turned out to be a trip to the ice wall for ice climbing? The wall is still 3' thick in some places, but there was slabs breaking off the whole time we were there. Decided to just do some free climbing to take pictures, which almost turned out to be a disaster, as it was beyond slippery. However, a few good shots were obtained.
RE; OUR BOYS? I think all are the same. Spring brings dreams of adventures and girls and the school books take a back seat. Pretty much it turns out they are on the back side of grade 12 before the realization of 'REAL LIFE' slaps them in the face. Thank God the trend here seems to be they mostly turn out pretty good. HERE'S HOPING FOR US. Have a good one.
