Ally we didn't stay in the beautiful hotel. We stayed forty minutes outside the park. It was a great little motel. Had everything we needed but if you are gonna do long hikes inside the park it is hard. The driving is on very curvy roads and if you are really tired not a good idea. Getting inside park reservations is tough. They are booked up forever.

Ok Ally to make it even worse we stay in Jackson Hole when we go to Yellowstone. Even a longer treck but we love the Tetons so much we endure the long drive. However the same there. If you hike long hikes you need to be in the the Yellowstone park. We actually saw more wildlife in the Tetons than we did in Yellowstone. We love staying at the Rusty Parrot right in Jackson too.

Up very early. Things I needed to get done before my son's arrival. He was visiting friends in Gainesville last night. The night prior to that he stopped in Atlanta to see friends there. With his flying schedule he has not been able to do this so inbetween jobs he is taking the opportunity.

We have nothing specail planned for Thanksgiving other than the complete meal with all the football games etc. Just the three of us. I hope for each of you your Thanksgiving is the best ever. Don't forget to give thanks for the many wonderful things we each have. Life has been good to us even with all the bumps. Love each one of you and thank you for being my friends for another year.

Forty days?! Good gosh. I'm having a lot of trouble with this, especially since we set another record for high temperature yesterday - well, College Station did, just up the road. 86 in November? Uhhhhhhh....
