Statement as of 08:44 PM CDT del 21 Maggio 2013

The Flood Advisory continues for
the Mississippi River at Memphis
* until Wednesday may 22.
* At 08 PM Tuesday the stage was 30.6 feet.
* Flood stage is 34.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will fall to near 30.1 feet Wednesday may 22.
* At 30.0 feet... boat Landing on the north end of Mud Island at the
mouth of the Wolf River is covered. Recreational vehicle Park South
of West Memphis starts to flood. Dacus Lake Road is flooding north
and south of I-40. River is against the toe of the levee from the
North County line south to near sulcer Road. Water is encroaching
the levee near the south end of island 40 chute. Camp near Mound
City is flooding. Water is beginning to flood The Settlement near
Blue Lake.

A record rainfall of 2.7 inches was set at Jackson yesterday. This
ties the old record of 2.7 set in 1949.
